About This Video

After taking a bit of time out, I wanted to properly get back into the swing of things—so I grabbed Q and we headed out for what turned into a seriously epic electric skateboarding adventure in the British countryside. In Part 1, we’re cruising 38 miles along the Wiltshire canal side, taking in loads of proper scenic sections, long stretches where you can settle into a rhythm, and the kind of ride that reminds you why esk8 is such a good way to explore. This video is less about a single board build and more about the whole experience—planning a big distance ride, staying rolling for mile after mile, and just enjoying the journey (with the usual bit of tinkering, learning as we go, and trying not to break anything important). If you’re into electric skateboard adventures, UK ride routes, or you’re thinking about doing your own long-distance canal path run, this one should give you a good feel for what it’s like and what you’ll want to consider before you set off.
