Enshrouded just reset EVERYTHING for your character—full skill tree wipe and a straight-up combat rework—and in this video I walk you through why that’s actually a good thing. With all the new nodes, new skills (like that two-handed Whirlwind I’m dying to test), and the new 0/3 upgradeable node system, builds finally feel like an actual path instead of burning points just to reach the stuff you want. They also rearranged key perks to be way more accessible early, like Double Jump being right in the center now. Combat got a big glow-up too. You’ve now got light attacks vs heavy attacks (heavy hits do double damage), plus enemies can dodge ranged shots, which genuinely caught me off guard the first time. There’s also an advanced enemy awareness system that rewards playing sneaky and smart instead of just face-tanking everything. On top of that, gear progression is deeper: armor, shields, wands, and rings are upgradeable with runes, and upgrades now route through the correct NPC (blacksmith for melee, alchemist for mage, huntress for ranger/rogue). And for builders, the new Adventure Sharing system lets you upload and visit worlds for inspiration—plus an in-game camera, auto-deposit stations, new decor like street lamps, and improved water dispensers. Honestly, this update feels like a massive setup for 1.0 later this year.
