In this video I review the Womier L75, and it’s one of those boards that makes you go, “For $50… how?” You get a 75% layout, a knob (great for things), bright RGB with a nice surrounding glow, and even little notification lights. The three-mode connectivity plus Windows/Mac compatibility is actually impressive at this price, and on Mac the keys line up correctly—rare and genuinely nice to see in a budget board. The size is also super portable while still giving you almost everything you need (unless you’re a numpad person, which is fine). Then I crack it open and it’s loaded: pre-lubed linear switches, a PC plate with flex cuts for a softer typing feel, plate/PCB foam, and a silicone dampener. I even did a cheap mod to push it further, and it still doesn’t feel like a $50 keyboard. But here’s the problem—and it’s a big one for most people: the keycaps. They’re glossy, side-printed, and way too smooth, with basically no grip and no F/J bumps. Add OEM profile (when most of us prefer Cherry), and you lose two out of three “most important priorities,” so I can’t recommend it to most of you. I rate it B tier: great board, but you either live with the keycaps… or don’t give them your money.
