In this video I test the Yunzii B98 Pro after about 3 months and I’m gonna say it: for around $92, this is literally the best budget “full size” keyboard of 2026… with a couple asterisks. Out of the box you get the basics (manuals, braided cable) plus the goofy-but-cute stuff like the smooth cat knob and little cat details. Layout-wise it’s a 96% (so not a true full size), but I honestly don’t care because the missing keys are the ones most people never touch—and if you do, you can remap everything through VIA/QMK. Functionality is stacked for the price: triple-mode connectivity, Mac support, and an 8000mAh battery that Yunzii claims can do 260 hours of typing (no, I’m not doing that test, I’m not suffering). The front height is low for office-style comfort, and the flex-cut PC plate gives a softer feel—good if you like that, not ideal if you want a stiffer typing experience. Build and looks get an 8 from me. Sound is where I start side-eyeing it. Stock, it’s a bit hollow and thin for my preferences, and most of that comes down to the switches. So I talk through mainstream, budget, pre-lubed switch options (because it’s 2026 and I’m not spending 3 hours lubing) that can turn this into a real “best bang for buck” pick—just remember, once you buy extra switches, it’s not as “budget” anymore.
