About This Video

In this stream I wanted to talk about keyboard YouTubers and why keyboard content feels kinda… boring lately. I’m not trying to disrespect anybody (I respect how hard it is to get to that level), but I miss the 2020 era when everyone was collabing, doing budget build battles, and just making the hobby feel fun. Now it’s mostly straight reviews—Hippotech, Switch and Click (who doesn’t even do keyboards as much anymore), and a lot of the bigger names either shifted to general tech or went missing for a while. And honestly? I barely watch keyboard videos these days unless I’m doing “research” for my own videos. I also talked about the annoying reality: the audience and the algorithm kinda shape what creators make. I like adding skits and making things fun, but it doesn’t always perform, and the keyboard audience trends older than me—so sometimes what I want to make and what people click are two different things. Shorts also nuked attention spans, including mine. Then we went full stream chaos: Reddit scrolling, layout debates (I’m a 60% guy, or 75 if I have to), a typing challenge where I failed and did push-ups, and some switch/board talk—like me being hyped for HMX Retro J (I want clacky, not creamy), plus a quick rant about websites and a shoutout to a couple underrated boards I’ve been enjoying lately.
