We got into what makes a switch actually worth your time: sound, feel, value, and whether the hype is real. I reacted to a big switch tier list (yes, clicky switches in S-tier-plus is unhinged to me), called out switches I don’t personally rate (Aqua Kings… I’m sorry, they’ve been bad for me), and shouted out budget kings like the Echo Rosewood for deep budget sound. I also explained my tactile preferences: if you’re tactile, you need to be punchy—sharp, “de-bump” tactiles are my thing, and my current S-tier-plus favorite is the AEO Cilantro. I also answered chat about Milky Yellows (still great, but you should lube and film them), why I don’t recommend buying switches from big gaming brands, and I showed off a “creamy” sleeper pick: the Keybloom Strawberry Jello switches—super smooth stock, but not exactly cheap per switch. Overall: try stuff, don’t worship tier lists, and chase what sounds/feels good to you.
