I hopped back on stream after some technology trouble and did what we always do: scroll Reddit together and judge keyboards like a team. We looked at a bunch of builds and sets (some were gorge, some were… why), and I had my usual hot takes—thick fonts are a win, mismatched sets can be a mess, and I still don’t understand the point of a whole fake numpad. I also talked about stuff like TMR boards (I still haven’t tried one yet), light bars (I may have hated on one a little too hard), and why certain layouts are just straight-up unusable. Then I unboxed a “coming soon” typewriter-style keyboard from Epomaker (the EO… Glass? I still don’t know how to say it). Packaging was crazy, it came with a braided cable, extras, and a super weird silicone wrist rest that feels like a fake BBL implant—sorry, it just does. First impressions: it leans deeper with Epomaker Wisteria switches, the RGB is insanely bright, there’s a long screen across the top, and the roller/toggle is actually cool (up = Enter, down = Backspace, press = Backspace too). My main complaint is the flat typing angle and those round “bottle cap” keycaps—gaps look weird. I’m daily-driving it for a week, and I might gift it to my sister, so I’m not trying to destroy it with mods.
