Hi everyone! In this video I’m playing with wax seals in a way I hadn’t tried before—adding these little shamrock jewel pieces right into the wax for the most satisfying St. Patrick’s Day seals. I wasn’t even sure it would work, but y’all… it turned out so cute. I test a few different greens (light mint, darker shimmer green) and then I start mixing colors too, like green with gold. I also try different shapes, including a clover-ish shape that I ended up being totally obsessed with. I share what worked (and what didn’t), like realizing those bigger molds need a lot more wax pellets than I expected, and how stirring helps the wax melt quicker and blend the colors. I also show you a couple little tricks—like pouring closer to the edge first so you actually get wax out to the corners, and using tweezers to place the tiny pieces (even though they wanted to stick to my tweezers). Then I turn a few seals into altered paper clips for my planner, and I add felt on the back for a nicer finish. Let me know your favorite combo—gold, dark green, or that light mint green!
