Hi everyone, it’s Sandy (Kentucky Krafter), and in this video I’m doing some good old mass making—using a 12x12 scrapbook paper pad to create a whole stack of “swing tags.” I dug into my stash (you know that Calix unit in the closet) and pulled papers I hadn’t used in a while. I cut my large tags to 6" tall x 3" wide, and my smaller tags to 4" tall x 3" wide, then paired them up with pretty double-sided patterns so you still have plenty of journaling space on the back. The fun part is decorating without overthinking it. I used simple layers like labels, faux aged tape, lace, book page, and a few Tim Holtz bits, plus butterflies I designed in Canva and printed (and yes—those are available as a freebie on my Patreon or Ko‑Fi). To make the tags “swing,” I attach the small tag to the big tag with a brad so it swivels—super cute and practical. By the time I was done, I had 14 finished tag sets, and my creative juices were really flowing—pulling in stash goodies like milk bottle caps, buttons, a playing card belly band, and even a cigarette card pocket.
