About This Video

In this video I’m continuing my craft room clean up and refresh, and I’m taking y’all along over several different days of progress. I’m decluttering after Christmas, tweaking how I store things, and trying to solve my biggest problem: projects that are in work. I bounce around from project to project, so I needed a system that lets me keep those journals and pieces handy without piling them on the floor (and yes… I still needed to vacuum, so don’t look at the carpet!). I show how I cleared and moved my desktop so my inks, stencils, stamps, buttons, beads, sequins, and washi are closer to where I actually sit and work. Then I share two storage wins from Michaels (both 40% off): a slot-style project organizer for in-progress junk journals and an over-the-door organizer that I turned into my “grab it quick” lace/ribbon station. I walk through how I decided what to put where—keeping the stuff I use most up front (rick rack, cream/white lace, seam binding, twine, and rotating seasonal trims) and pushing overflow or specialty trims back into tubs. I also show a simple inventory tip for my clear containers in my closet cubes, plus my “capacity rule” for scraps: once that bin is full, extra scraps get tossed. I’m planning a full updated craft room tour once I’m finished with the last few organizing projects.
