What’s good — in this video I’m showing you how I get rid of clicks and pops in vocals (or even your whole song) inside Adobe Audition. Sometimes it’s literally just mouth noise because you didn’t drink enough water, and other times it’s your effects creating those weird artificial clicks. Either way, I’ll show you a quick fix that I use when I’m editing my own songs. I pull up a real vocal clip I recorded for a previous tutorial, double-click it to jump into the waveform view, and then hunt for the click by listening back. Once I find it, I highlight that section and go to Effects > Noise Reduction > Automatic Click Remover. There are a bunch of settings you can mess with, but I keep it simple: I usually run Heavy Reduction because it works pretty well for the kind of clicks I run into. Apply it, listen back, and most of the time it’s gone — fast, clean, and no extra plugins needed.
