I’m sharing a Target haul that was honestly my last little shopping trip for a while—because Lent was literally starting the next day when I filmed this, and one of my goals is to not do the “wander Target and shop around” thing during Lent (even thrift shopping, which is usually my little outlet). I took Harper with me, and it was our first real “just us” Target trip where she sat in the cart seat and behaved so well… maybe too well, because I ended up getting a lot. I went in looking for spring dresses (and I wanted to actually try them on in-store), plus a head start on Easter baskets so I’m not stressing during Lent. I found some really pretty church-friendly dresses with pockets, a lightweight cardigan that’s perfect over spaghetti straps, and a few accessories that make me feel like I tried—headbands, a nicer-looking hair clip, and those wristbands that stop water from running down your arms when you wash your face (the worst feeling). I also grabbed a few practical baby/toddler things for Harper, and then I walked you through my more intentional Easter basket plan this year: less “second Christmas,” more outfits + books + snacks, plus swimsuits for my kids so we can live outside at splash pads and the water table all spring and summer.
