Good morning from Magic Kingdom day two with our family of six. We started the day the way we always want to when we travel—at Mass. We went to Mary, Queen of the Universe (if you’re Catholic, it’s beautiful), grabbed Starbucks on the way because there was no time for hotel breakfast, and then headed back to the park. I share the real-life stuff too: my back was killing me from carrying Harper and all the walking (Tylenol was necessary), and filming is honestly hard when you always have a kid in your arm and the stroller gets parked for long lines. Once we got in, we rode Pirates, got caught in the rain, and pivoted to indoor breaks like the Tiki Room (which was also a great spot for me to nurse Harper) and lunch in Pinocchio Village Haus while Joe used a single Lightning Lane to ride Tron. The big moment of the day was Riley’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment—watching her become “Princess Riley” (okay, “Queen Ry,” apparently) was so special and totally worth it. I also share my best tip: if you can bring your own dress from home, you’ll save a lot and still get the full magical experience, including a sweet photo op with Fairy Godmother.
