In this video I’m reviewing what I genuinely call a “god tier, do-it-all” productivity mouse: the Logitech MX Master 3S (the regular one, not the Mac version). The big win for me is you get the dongle in the box, and that gives you a more stable, precise connection to your main machine. On top of that, it can connect to up to three devices and you can switch between them with the button underneath—super versatile if you’re bouncing between a MacBook, Mac Studio, and even a Windows setup. I break down the features that make this mouse the undisputed productivity king: the MagSpeed scroll wheel (ratchet vs free-spin/unlimited scroll), the ultra-silent clicks (I literally test it so you can hear how quiet it is), the side thumb wheel for horizontal scrolling, and the 8,000 DPI sensor that even works on glass. Then I jump into Logitech Options+ and show how deep the customization goes—per-app profiles, button remaps, and gesture controls. The real proof is my DaVinci Resolve demo. I map play/pause, cuts in front/behind the playhead, plus undo/redo to gestures, and it turns into one-handed editing control. Battery life is also wild—I’m talking months—and it charges via USB-C while still being usable. For 2025, I still don’t see how Logitech tops this one.
