Part 2 of 2 - Quality Control from PlayStation This Gen is definitely Questionable... The PS5 Pro is definitely powerful but weak in the knees. ____________________________________________________ 🛒 Checkout my Amazon Storefront for more useful tech at affordable prices: https://www.amazon.com/shop/kamanibrown ____________________________________________________ Social Media - Instagram: kamanibrown_ Facebook: Kamani Brown Email: katanagraphicsja@gmail.com ____________________________________________________ DISCLAIMER: I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (and several others), an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for persons to earn commissions by promoting and linking to Amazon.com (or whichever other affiliated website/company). About This Video

This is update #2 on my PS5 Pro situation, and honestly… Sony surprised me. Four to six days after sending it in, my console came back, and the turnaround was fast enough that I was about to turn this into a whole three-part drama series—but Sony beat me to it. First thing I noticed: the return box was smaller than the original “coffin,” which had me thinking I might be getting my same unit back or a refurb. When I checked the exchange summary, Sony claimed “light scratches” on arrival, which is a straight lie—my stuff stays pristine. But once I actually unboxed the system, it looked like a fresh body: clean internals, no wear on the screw, and even the plates/clamps felt different (easier) than my original. They didn’t explain what failed, but the fact they swapped the unit tells me it wasn’t an easy repair. I reinstalled my M.2 SSD live on camera, hooked up HDMI 2.1, powered it up, and confirmed everything was reading properly. Bottom line: I still don’t rate PlayStation’s quality control this gen, but the warranty exchange process in North America was smooth and worth it—just watch for shipping/address issues.
