W people—today I’m testing one of my most recommended AirPods Pro (2nd gen) accessories: ear hooks. Even though I’m blessed and the OEM tips fit my ears pretty perfect, I know a lot of you deal with AirPods Pro 2 slipping out once things get sweaty at the gym or on a run. So I grabbed one of the highest-rated sets I could find (can’t pronounce the brand name to save my life, but the link is in the description) and I put them on to see if they actually lock the AirPods in place. In the video I unbox what you get (multiple sets, a little carrying case, and a key ring) and I show how easy the hooks slip on. The big con is simple: once the hooks are on, your AirPods won’t fit back into the charging case, so you’ll be taking them on and off—or using the included carry case. Comfort-wise, I was surprised: they feel snug, secure, and for me it even felt like I got a better seal (noise cancel and transparency felt improved too—maybe placebo, but it was noticeable). I also tested them on AirPods (3rd gen) and they fit as well, which is a nice bonus. Overall, for the cost, these are a home run if you don’t want to lose your AirPods on a trail, in the gym, or anywhere near traffic.
