In this video I’m testing out these Neporal rechargeable light bulbs and showing exactly why I think they’re such a smart thing to keep around for power outages and camping. I unbox the bulbs and the remote, then walk through the lighting modes—three different white tones (blue white, natural white, and yellow white) plus a bunch of RGB colors like red, green, blue, purple, pink, and light blue. You can also press and hold to adjust the dimness, and I show the brightest setting down to the dimmest (the dimming works on the white modes). What I really like is how flexible these are. I can control everything hands-off with the remote, which is super helpful if you’ve got the bulb hanging up in a tent or somewhere awkward. And for emergencies, I love that you can literally carry it around like a torch to see your way around when the power goes out. I also demonstrate that it still works in a lamp even when the lamp isn’t plugged in, and then I plug it in to show it charges and works like a normal bulb while connected to the wall. Overall, it’s a simple, very handy upgrade for everyday use and those “just in case” situations.
