In this video, I’m testing a 100% blackout sleep mask that also doubles as a hot/cold gel therapy mask, and I love how simple it is. The design is the big win here: it’s fully blackout (including a nice little nose cutout with a blackout feature around it), but it also has a 3D contour so it’s not putting pressure on your actual eyes. The eye cavity is about 3 cm deep, so you can still blink freely without your eyelashes rubbing, which is something I always pay attention to. I also go over exactly how to use it for therapy: for cold, you freeze it for 1–2 hours and use it right away—perfect for things like puffy eyes and headaches (which is a huge benefit for me because I get headaches often). For heat, you can microwave it for about 20 seconds, which is great for dry eyes and relaxation. It’s lightly weighted too, so it gives that gentle pressure “soft hug” feeling without pushing on your eyes, and the stretchy adjustable strap has no pokey pieces—so if you’re a side sleeper, it should stay comfortable. Overall, I love that it’s blackout AND gives you hot/cold options depending on what you need.
