In this video, I unbox and test a car windshield cover that’s made to stop you from having to scrape ice again. The whole idea is simple: you put it on at night, and when you wake up in the morning your windshield is protected from ice, snow, and even frost (at least where we live). For me, that’s a huge convenience because it can eliminate about 20 minutes every morning of defrosting, deicing, and clearing snow off the car. I show what comes in the box (the cover plus a handy carrying bag), and then I walk through how it installs on my car. It’s double-sided, with the black side against the windshield and the reflective silver side facing out. It’s also a five-layer fabric design with waterproof coated outer layers and an anti-freeze inner fabric, and it’s built from a durable nano material so you can use it year after year. My favorite part is that the straps are adjustable, elastic, and feel durable, so you can get a snug fit depending on your vehicle. Overall, it was really easy to install and it’s something I’m definitely keeping tucked in my car for the next snow.
