I spent $5000 Canadian on my first small form factor pc with the NCASE M2! Hopefully I can figure out how to build it properly as I haven't build a PC in over 5 years. About This Video

In this video I build my very first small form factor PC inside the NCASE M2 Grater, and I’m not gonna lie—I spent around $5,000 Canadian on parts, so I really hoped I didn’t mess it up. This is meant to be my main setup for gaming and video editing, so I didn’t want to cheap out. I walk through the core parts I picked, why I picked them, and the exact order I installed everything so it actually makes sense in a tight ITX case. I went with the Gigabyte X870I AORUS Pro ICE because it’s got solid I/O and supports two M.2 drives, which I needed for editing. For the CPU I chose the Ryzen 9 9950X3D (yes, it’s expensive), and I also explain how you can save money if you’re mostly gaming. I show my storage setup (Samsung 990 Pro boot drive + a cheaper 4TB WD drive for video files), 64GB of DDR5, and how I fit an ASUS Prime RTX 5080 with an inverted GPU orientation. I also share a bunch of “learned the hard way” SFF tips—like installing standoffs first (shoutout Optimum Tech), cable managing immediately, and why I ran bottom fans as intake to avoid rattling. At the end, I tested games at max settings and saw surprisingly low temps around 60–65°C for both CPU and GPU, which honestly blew my mind.
