Is the RK M75 the best 75% keyboard this year? Let's find out as I review the RK M75 with RK red switches. About This Video

In this video I put the RK M75 under the microscope to see if it’s actually the “blow your mind” budget 75% everyone wants it to be—or if it’s just the wish.com version of a premium board. I go through the unboxing, the two different versions (new ~$80 vs older ~$65), and the key differences you should care about like keycaps (PBT Cherry on the new one vs ABS OEM on the old) and RGB orientation (south-facing on the new, north-facing on the old). I also cover the design quirks like the dual USB-C ports (one is USB passthrough), the magnetic dongle holder, the knob, and the little screen that shows connectivity mode and battery. Then I get into the stuff that actually matters: how it feels and sounds. Mine came with RK red switches that are pre-lubed, and with the case foam + gasket mount, it ends up pretty thocky and surprisingly quiet. Wireless is solid (2.4GHz for low latency, Bluetooth 5.0 when you’re feeling lazy), and for gaming it’s good—just don’t pretend it’s a Wooting. My takeaway: it’s great value for $80, the $65 version is still fine if you’re broke, but there are competitors like the AAF75 around $60, and if you want more “wow,” the Yunzi AL66 metal case at ~$100 is insane.
