Winter ’25/’26 kinda sucks—warm temps, thin coverage, and that ripple effect hits all of us. In this video I talk honestly about how a bad winter messes with my plans and even my channel, because a lot of what I want to film needs real snow and real conditions. But I’m not putting snowboarding “in a drawer.” I’m getting creative, leaning into what I can still do, and doubling down on the stuff that actually keeps the sport alive: participating, staying curious, and keeping the stoke moving even when the season doesn’t cooperate. I also explain why “timeless” snowboard content doesn’t lose its edge. Board design, tuning, waxing, carving fundamentals, gear setup—those don’t expire just because the forecast is trash. I share what I’m working toward next (including a longer film project for fall 2026), invite you to share how your winter is going, and I float the idea of a series on custom board builders. The big takeaway: any day snowboarding in bad conditions is still better than not snowboarding—because being out there is what keeps this whole thing alive.
