Pink makeup on dark skin can be a hit or miss, so in this video I created a luxury Valentine’s Day soft glam that actually shows up on deeper skin tones—on this beautiful chocolate skin, okay. I went into my Natasha Denona Roxa palette first and built a purpley-pink moment (because I’m doing whatever color I want for Valentine’s Day). I focused on blending color into color (not always browns), added depth with a deep plum, and topped the lid with a pinky-purple shimmer so the eye still feels romantic and wearable. For skin, I used the Benefit Porefessional Smoothing & Blurring Foundation in 35N because the undertone is that slight olive-leaning perfection on me, and it gives me that medium-to-full buildable coverage I love. I bronzed with Saie Dew Bronze and later layered in my NARS Laguna vibe for extra warmth, then went in with that under-eye blush placement using Fenty Drama Class and What A Brat. I also tested the Prada concealers again (because I really wanted to love them), set with Danessa Myricks Evolution Powder in Pink, and finished with my ride-or-die Benefit Super Setter plus Fenty Pink Ice for highlight. The end result is a glam Valentine’s look that reads soft, glowy, and deep-skin friendly—without looking ashy.
