In this video, I’m doing a full face of NYX Cosmetics to see if affordable makeup can really give that high-end glam—and yes, we absolutely accomplished it. I tested a bunch of newer NYX launches (plus some staples) and focused on how everything sits on oily, textured skin. I started with brows using The Brow Glue and the Lift & Snatch brow pencil, then I went in with the brand new Wonder Snatch concealer (I used it to carve my brows first, then under the eyes). For eyeshadow, I didn’t have current NYX shadows I’d recommend, so I multitasked and used the Buttermelt bronzer + blushes on my lids—and the pigment and blend were honestly gorgeous. For complexion, I used the Make Them Wonder Soft Matte Foundation (shade 36 Warm Rich) with my holy grail Face Glue Gripping Primer. The skin looked smooth, poreless, and it covered my hyperpigmentation so well. The Wonder Snatch concealer surprised me with how full-coverage it looked once it sat for a minute, and the Wonder Snatch powders set everything beautifully—my only complaint is I wish NYX would make the powder components bigger. I finished with the Epic Ink liner, Face Glue Setting Spray, and a Lip Lingerie liner + Lip IV gloss serum for that glossy, one-and-done lip. Then I planned to wear it out in 79° weather to see how it holds up.
