New makeup releases are everywhere right now, so in this video I tested a full face of brand new makeup from Sephora, Ulta, and Walmart—plus I gave a few products a second chance that I used once and never really revisited. I’m walking you through real first impressions (coverage, blendability, finish) and the honest “is it worth your money or do you need to skip it?” conversation as I build the look. I also used the Danessa Myricks Mini Everyday Magic Neutral palette for a simple, cool-toned eye and showed you how pigmented those shimmers can get with barely any dipping. For my base, I tried the Milk Pore Eclipse Mattifying + Blurring Primer again and layered the Milk Hydro Grip Gel Skin Tint, which surprised me with more medium coverage than I expected—glowy, but definitely tacky and not transfer-resistant until you set it. The Milk Hydro Grip Gel Stick Concealer looked good at first and blended nicely, but later on I noticed creasing happening, so it’s one I need to test again with products I’m more familiar with to see what’s really causing it. I also tried an affordable Hard Candy color-correcting powder and the Revolution Powder Pops, and both gave me that blurred, bright under-eye look I’m always chasing—especially for oily skin days when I need my makeup to stay put.
