In this video, I’m doing a full face of NEW makeup (Ulta + Sephora finds) and giving you my honest first impressions—viral hits or total misses. I start with the ColourPop x The Grinch palette and create a holiday glam pink/berry look. The shadows are super pigmented and pretty, but I will say they’re powdery, so you want to tap and build, then blend your edges so the deeper shades don’t disappear on you. For complexion, I finally tried the Maybelline Lifter Plump & Glow Foundation in shade 368, and baby… this shade is spot-on for me. The last shade I tried was pulling red, but 368 is neutral and looks like my actual skin—glowy, lightweight, and buildable without looking cakey. I also tested the about-face The Illusionist concealer, and while I picked shades that were too light, I really liked the formula: it blended in nicely, gave me a bright under-eye, and looked smooth once the rest of the face came together. I finished everything off with my go-to powders (including my Lys True Enlightenment), added blush and glow for the holidays, and wrapped it up with a glossy lip so you can see the full finished look.
