But when it came to complexion, mixing Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow with One/Size Turn Up The Base reminded me exactly why I don’t reach for them: the shade pulls super warm/red on me. The skin looked smooth, but I’m not walking around looking like an Oompa Loompa, okay? I also tried Rare Beauty complexion pieces, Pat McGrath cream blush (pretty, but disappeared on me), and bronzers that just weren’t deep enough—because luxury still loves acting like deeper skin doesn’t exist.
