In this video I’m putting the *NEW* NARS Natural Matte Longwear Pore Blurring Foundation to the test with a true first impressions + wear test on my oily, textured skin. I go through the claims (matte, longwearing, water resistant, pore blurring, medium-to-full coverage) and apply it with no primer because my pores are my pain point—and that’s how I measure every foundation. Right away, I could see how lightweight it felt and how *baby smooth* my skin looked. It’s one of the most truest mattes I’ve tried in a long time—like the kind of matte that looks like you already have powder on. I also show you how it plays with the rest of my routine (concealer, cream bronzer, blush, powder, setting spray, and highlighter) because that matters just as much as the first swipe. The finish stayed gorgeous and intact through my check-ins (around 11:33 and close to midnight), and nothing broke up or moved. My biggest callout is oxidation—I really feel like it deepened at least a shade (maybe more), which is something I’ve experienced with NARS before. Overall, the skin looked lifelike, blurred, and full glam without getting cakey, and I can’t wait to take it outside for a full day wear test.
