In this full face test, I’m putting Patrick Ta Beauty to work and answering the real question: is Patrick Ta actually giving luxury quality, or is it just hype? I go product by product—packaging, formula, blendability, finish, and how everything wears—using my luxury makeup scorecard mindset. I use the Major Dimension Essential Artistry Edit palette (and yes, I bought medium and deep), the Hydra-Luxe foundation in shade 21, the Major Sculpt bronzer duo in She’s Defined, the Major Headlines blush duo in She’s So LA, plus the She’s Strong lip crayon and the lip balm. The biggest surprise for me was the new talc-free eyeshadow formula. It’s creamy, super pigmented, blends effortlessly, and it legit held on like it was waterproof (I washed dishes and the swatches were still there). The foundation gave me that serum-skin-care feel with a beautiful glow—very “your mom put Vaseline on your face before you go outside” vibes—so I do think it can be gorgeous for mature skin, especially in winter. The bronzer shade shows up beautifully on my dark skin, the blush ended up being a really pretty everyday bronzy nude, but I also talk about real issues like fingerprints on the packaging, how “moisture-heavy” the face feels, and my under-eye area looking extra crepey after powder and setting spray.
