Is your imitation leather couch is peeling? You have several options for properly repairing it. Forget about trying to patch or paste the bad spots, because it will only get worse. Don't take my word for it. Check out other channels like, Rub'n Restore Inc. Eventually you will want to use one of the three options that I am going to show you on this couch repair video. About This Video

In this Part 2 video, I wrap up the story on my peeling vinyl RV couch and what I actually did to fix it the right way. That imitation leather was coming apart, peeling everywhere, and making a mess—so I’m past the point of patches and quick fixes. I already talked through the options in Part 1, and in this video I show you the results after having a custom upholsterer redo the couch. After about seven weeks (that was his lead time), I got the couch back and overall I’m satisfied. He reused all my foam and the internals since they were still in good shape, and switched me from vinyl to a durable, cleanable fabric that’s soft and very comfortable. Cost-wise, I paid $960 to have the couch and both arms recovered, and I likely came out better than ordering a replacement from the factory. I also walk you through the reinstall—what’s easy, what’s not, and where the different screw lengths go—so you can put yours back together without guessing. While I’m working inside, I’m also using my Mr. Heater Buddy to keep the camper cozy without running the furnace nonstop.
