Hi everyone, I’m JD from Willowbound Journals, and in this video I’m doing a flip through of one of my absolute favorite journals I’ve made—a chunky, blue-themed vintage French journal with those blue florals on the cover (especially with the rose). I was very tempted to keep this one for me, because I just love that paper, and I tried to put as much blue in here as possible to match it. Inside you’ll see a mix of handmade goodies and authentic vintage pieces—tags, altered envelopes, doilies, playing cards (I really like the smaller size), and lots of beautiful vintage ledger, music paper, and cream lined pages. I also share a few of the specific elements I used, like pages from my Linen & Ledger printable kit (in my Etsy), plus pieces from my vintage French seed packet kit (about 72 different packets). There are vintage French letters, documents (including a narrow page using an authentic 1955 document), an antique French postcard, French agenda pages, vocabulary cards, and plenty of scraps and offcuts tucked in for collaging. Most of the ephemera is paper clipped in, so you can move everything around and make it your own—use it as a journal, or as a little stash to pull from as you create.
