About This Video

Hi everyone, I’m JD from Willowbound Journals, and in this video I’m unboxing a beautiful vintage floral and butterfly washi tape set from Ieebee. They reached out to collaborate with me again and let me choose a set from their website, and I was honestly so excited because I’ve loved the Ieebee sets I’ve used before—especially the Macaron set that I used heaps for my quote cards. This time the set arrives in a sturdy, beautifully decorated box, and there’s even a little booklet inside showing other washi collections (some of you have told me you’ve grabbed sets like Van Gogh, and I’ve had the Monet one before—those water lilies were stunning). I take you through the different sizes and designs and share what I actually use in my journaling. My absolute favorites are the big, thick rolls because they get used up so quickly when I’m decorating pages, making tags, and building vintage journal spreads—especially anything with wildflowers, garden vibes, or that woodland/autumn tone. The smaller skinny tapes are gorgeous, but they’re not usually what I reach for (they’re more planning/bullet journal sized), so I’ll often donate those or pop them into my mystery packs. I also share ideas for where these will shine—like family heirloom journals (I love the “memory” one), rose journals with gold foil, and the Edith Holden journals I’m planning to make this year.
