Hi everyone, I’m JD from Willowbound Journals, and this video is me finally fulfilling a request to show a day in my life—although I’m kind of cheating a little bit because it’s footage from over two days (and honestly, I filmed this last year and procrastinated editing it because there was so much footage). You’ll come with me to the front beach where I meet my friend Noreen, we swing on the swings, and then we head to La Sorelle for brunch. I also pop into the library for book bingo (including the very glamorous task of taking a photo of myself reading at the library), and I share a little stack of books I borrowed—plus a few thoughts on why I’m a total mood reader. Back at home, you’ll see some of the real, mundane rhythms too—like hanging out the washing (with Keanu supervising, of course) and taking him for a walk in his harness. Then I settle into my typical evening routine: crafting at my desk while listening to a podcast (usually Psychology in Seattle), working on a fairy journal collection using my printables (including my wallpaper kit and an antique botanical kit from Patreon). I end the night with the kind of things that keep my creative life joyful—reading, and playing ukulele, even if I’m still learning and being a bit brave about it.
