Hi everyone, I’m JD from Willowbound Journals, and in this video I’m sharing a flip through of three new journals I’ve had so much fun making. I’ve been doing a lot of embellished journals lately, but I know I’m not the only one who prefers a plainer, more blank style for actual everyday journaling—so these are more in that direction, while still giving you a really lovely variety of pages. The covers are made with gorgeous pattern and scrapbook papers, and I’ve kept a soft purple thread running through the whole set by binding all three with purple embroidery thread. The first journal is called “Sentiments” because I just love that “good times / life is sweet” vibe, and it leans into purples, florals, vintage and music paper, sewn pocket pages, and those cream Secret Garden colouring-in pages (I adore being able to write around the images). I also included fun little quotes like “Stop existing and start living,” because honestly I love sentiments and I’m always coming up with my own too. The second is another purple-themed journal with that beautiful green foil shine on the cover, plus a thrifted colouring page that already had a little bit coloured in—which I thought looked really nice. The third journal is my full-colour, rainbow floral one, with a vibrant napkin envelope that matched the cover perfectly, plus ledger paper, note papers, and lots of florals. All three journals are already spoken for (two sold and one gifted to a patron), and I’ll be packaging them up to send out this week.
