Hi everyone, I’m JD from Willowbound Journals, and in this video I’m sharing a flip through of a brand new journal I had so much fun making—my “floral eclectic happy mail” style journal. A friend gave me this beautiful, colorful floral paper and it honestly set the whole tone: bright, vibrant, and packed with happy little surprises. I kept it really playful and eclectic, with lots to look at and lots to use—playing cards, my stamp tags, a library card, scripture journaling/coloring cards, Amity Bloom Polaroid journal cards, and a lovely mix of pattern papers, ledger paper, vintage music paper, wallpaper bits, and more. I also tucked in special pieces that I’d been hoarding for years—like a fern garden image that reminds me of my childhood home, and a fox card (the fox is a symbol of joy for me). Throughout the flip through I point out little interactive bits—scrappy pieces you can turn into pockets, big paper clips, a coin envelope, altered ephemera, and journaling spots where you can add a photo and write or collage.
