Hi everyone, I’m JD from Willowbound Journals, and in this video I’m doing a flip through of two Daphne’s Diary–inspired junk journals that I absolutely loved making. I used papers from my favourite magazine (Daphne’s Diary) that I’d actually been saving for myself—so these were originally going to be mine. Blue is my favourite colour, and I’m so drawn to those soft florals, so I really leaned into that vintage, gentle vibe. One of the covers even came from a large poster page, which meant I could use the front and back. These two journals were made as giveaways for my 8-year YouTube anniversary live, which was such a sweet night. One journal went to Jude (who moderated the live and made everyone feel so welcomed), and the other went to Heather via a random number generator for my patron giveaway. Inside, I’ve kept them in my style: a mix of blank pages, lots of my beloved ledger pages (including some vintage ones), and special finds like calligraphy book pages that turn into ready-made journal cards. I also share a little patron special at the end—my princess-themed printable kit, printed on my laser printer and mailed to the first eight new patrons (with tier details for Australia vs overseas).
