Hi everyone, I’m JD from Willowbound Journals, and in this video I’m doing a flip through of two completed journals from my boho vintage French journal collection (there are seven in total). These two—along with another one—are already spoken for, and I’m sending them off to their new owners, so I wanted to film the flip through first. If you’re hoping to own one like this, there are four more in my Etsy (they’re bound and I’m finishing the ephemera and trims this week so I can post them out next week). Inside, I share all the little details I love: floral pockets, library cards, vintage ledger, handmade tags, decorated pockets (including a double pocket with a window), and lots of removable pieces so you have the freedom to use everything however you want. I’ve included antique French letters, envelopes, postcards, checks, documents that fold out, seed packets, tea cards, playing cards, trims, and pages from a French antique book called The Spirit of Flowers (which I turned into a printable kit). These journals have been two years in the making—collecting, hoarding my favorite bits, and finally saying “nope, time to use them.” It feels so good to send them to new homes and free up a lot of space in my room.
