About This Video

Y’all, in this video I’m showing you exactly how I made my Disney-inspired banana pudding after Joshua, his mom, and I tried the banana pudding at Disneyland’s Hungry Bear Jamboree. I was shocked out of my pants because it wasn’t just “straight up traditional” banana pudding—baby, they had caramel in the middle and toffee bits on top. I said somebody’s grandma (and them auntie) is in the kitchen at Disneyland, because it was a five star for me. So I went home and got creative. I kept the pudding smooth and classic, but I added my “special touch”: Ghirardelli sea salt caramel sauce for that flowy caramel layer, Heath English toffee bits on top (not mixed throughout), and a little Biscoff cookie with my Nilla wafers because I wanted more flavor in the cookie. I also use cream cheese with sweetened condensed milk, fold in Cool Whip, and I even blend a banana with lemon juice because I’m picky—I don’t like that brown banana situation. The big takeaway: this is an easy, year-round dessert that’s perfect for holidays, hosting, and portion-controlled cups, and it truly takes banana pudding to a whole other level.
