About This Video

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, so in this video I’m showing you the most easiest upgrade ever—turning a simple “LOVE” gift box into the prettiest, most thoughtful Valentine’s decor gift. I picked up my box from Hobby Lobby (they were selling out fast!), grabbed mini craft roses, and pulled out my handy glue gun from Walmart. My goal was to cover the top edge with red and pink roses (because I love red and pink together), and then add a few leaves in between to make it look even more beautiful. I walk you through how I cut the little “tails” off the roses, how I place everything first like a road map before I glue, and how I sneak a few shiny leaves off an inexpensive Dollar Tree bundle (yes, child—go on and cut some leaves off). Once the flowers are glued down solid, I add a cute sticker at the opening for extra decor. Then comes the fun part—filling the inside with goodies. I used Walmart basket shreds and loaded it up with a mix of chocolates and candy favorites (Dollar Tree Hershey Kisses and more). My takeaway: you can be creative—fill it with candy, cookies, socks, makeup, perfume, or anything your loved one enjoys. And as always, trust God, keep Him first, and He’ll lead you in the right direction.
