About This Video

Happy Resurrection Weekend, family. In this quick Resurrection Saturday video, I’m showing you a true last-minute dessert idea for when you do not have time to make something homemade—Marie Callender’s Dutch Apple Pie. This has been a quick go-to in my family for the holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and even Easter), and I wanted to share just how simple it is to get a delicious pie on the table with almost no effort. I walk you through exactly what I do: I protect the crust with foil (because I do that with all my pies), bake it at 400 degrees for 60–65 minutes on a baking sheet, then add the crumble topping and pop it back in for 10 more minutes. After it cools (we tried ours a little warm because we were ready to go), I serve it with ice cream—dolce de leche is so good on top, like a caramel-style moment. And yes, it’s not homemade, but it’s a perfect alternative for a quick holiday dessert. Most of all, I’m celebrating Jesus—He has risen—and reminding you like I always do: trust God, keep Him first, and He’ll lead you in the right direction.
