In this video I show you my quick and easy Duncan Hines chocolate cake box hack that turns out super duper moist, rich, and decadent. I make it better by adding instant chocolate pudding (Jell-O), sour cream, extra eggs, and chocolate chips—plus I swap the water for full-fat milk (you can also use brewed coffee or espresso for even more depth). I also share how I prep my pans with my homemade cake release and parchment so those layers flip out clean. Then I whip up a homemade Hershey cocoa frosting (straight from the Hershey container recipe) and frost it up fast—no fancy crumb coat tonight because Joshua needed this cake ready to go.
