In this video, I review the Typecase Edge Pro RGB Keyboard for the M5 iPad Pro and break down whether this is actually the BEST keyboard case for Apple’s latest iPad Pro. With a full RGB backlit keyboard, multi gesture precision trackpad, and a floating magnetic design, the Typecase Edge Pro is positioning itself as a serious alternative to Apple’s Magic Keyboard. But does it really replace it? After extensive testing, I cover: • Build quality and materials • Typing experience and key travel • RGB backlighting customization • Trackpad accuracy and gestures • Battery life performance • Protection and durability • Everyday productivity use • Value vs Apple’s Magic Keyboard If you’re looking for the best keyboard for the iPad Pro M5, a more affordable Magic Keyboard alternative, or just want to upgrade your iPad Pro into a laptop-style setup, this review will help you decide. About This Video

I’ve possibly found my new favorite keyboard for my iPad Pro. In this video I review the Typecase Edge Pro and break down what it’s actually like to use after the last few weeks with my M5 iPad Pro as a laptop replacement—especially in a business setting where I’m walking around the office or my home office with the iPad in hand. First thing I noticed is how thin it is compared to a lot of aftermarket options, but it still gives you that aluminum, soft-touch feel that makes it feel premium and durable. What really surprised me is how close the typing and trackpad experience is to what you’d expect from a Magic Keyboard or even a MacBook. The keys feel short and tactile, and the trackpad is super clicky (in a good way) with smooth gestures in iPadOS—no mushy clicks and no missed swipes. The most innovative part is the per-key RGB lighting with 10 modes, and it doesn’t look cheap or tacky at all. It’s bright enough to look good even in well-lit areas, and the dedicated buttons for brightness and lighting modes make it super easy. It’s Bluetooth, reconnects in less than a second when you open the lid, and I haven’t had to charge it once in weeks—even while using the lighting. Bottom line: I absolutely recommend it, and it’s likely my go-to EDC keyboard for the M5 iPad Pro.
