About This Video

For the last couple years I’ve been running on my ISP’s router/modem combo, and as an IT guy with a house full of devices, it finally hit a point where my network just wasn’t good enough anymore. In this video I break down my real-world experience after a few weeks with the TP-Link Archer BE600 Tri-Band Wi‑Fi 7 router—specifically what changed in my home with latency, overall speeds across my devices, and signal strength. I was coming from Wi‑Fi 6 and thought I was fine… but boy was I wrong. I walk through the unboxing and setup using the TP-Link Tether app, plus a simple trick that saved me a ton of time: I matched my new Wi‑Fi name and password to the old network so all my smart home gear, security devices, and everything else reconnected automatically. The biggest feature I focus on is MLO (Multi‑Link Operation), which lets compatible devices use multiple bands in the background for better speed, connectivity, and lower latency. With around 40 devices on my network, the consistency is what stood out most—especially things like instant 4K streaming on my iPad Pro with way less buffering. I also cover who I think should actually buy a Wi‑Fi 7 router, and why this one genuinely upgraded my whole home setup.
