After 1 year of daily use, it’s time to compare the OnePlus 15 vs Galaxy S25 Ultra — and there’s one thing about the S25 Ultra that’s really bothering me… 👀 In this long-term review, I break down real-world performance, battery life, display quality, camera results, software experience (One UI vs OxygenOS), gaming performance, thermals, charging speeds, and overall value in 2026. But the biggest difference? The battery technology. The OnePlus 15’s larger silicon-carbon battery delivers impressive endurance and next-gen efficiency, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra sticks with a smaller traditional lithium-ion setup. After a full year, does that decision hurt Samsung’s flagship? And does battery innovation give OnePlus the edge long term? If you’re trying to decide between the Galaxy S25 Ultra and the OnePlus 15 — or wondering which 2026 Android flagship is worth your money — this comparison will help you make the right call. About This Video

I’ve been daily driving both the OnePlus 15 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra for about a year, and honestly… they’re two of the best Android phones I’ve ever used, bar none. On the surface they’re super similar: big, bright, beautiful displays, excellent thermals, great speakers, and flagship-level performance. But after long-term use, two areas really separate them for me—cameras and (especially) battery. The thing that keeps bothering me is Samsung still sticking with that traditional 5,000 mAh lithium-ion setup on the S25 Ultra. I’ve had days where I can straight up kill it, and if I make it through a heavy day I’m genuinely shocked. Meanwhile the OnePlus 15’s 7,300 mAh silicon-carbon battery is ridiculous—in a good way. I can consistently pull three days, or two full days even with heavy video recording/editing and gaming, and the charging is so fast it’s one of the first phones I’ve never had to charge overnight. Beyond battery, Samsung wins display (brighter, sharper, better color, plus that anti-reflective coating) and software (One UI + Good Lock is on another level). OnePlus wins raw feel and speed—the animations, scrolling, and that “speed beast” vibe is just different. Camera-wise I prefer Samsung overall, but both struggle in low light; OnePlus surprised me and even handles moving subjects better than Samsung in my experience.
