The OnePlus 15 is here and I’m just going to say it: I think a lot of people are straight up wrong about this phone. In this video I walk through why the actual day-to-day OnePlus experience is so lush on the 15—starting with the design. The bezels are insanely thin (thinner than my iPhone 17 Pro Max), it feels light in hand, and this “sandstone” colorway has that grippy, textured feel that I genuinely like. I also show the display settings I change right away (resolution, refresh rate, app-specific refresh rates, vivid color mode), because out of the box it wasn’t tuned the way I prefer. From there, I get into what really matters: performance, gaming, audio, software, battery, and cameras. The Trinity engine + Snapdragon Elite combo makes this the most fluid phone I’ve personally used—especially for gaming (Delta Force feels unreal). The speakers shocked me too; they’re on par with the S25 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max, and Bluetooth audio is a big step up vs the OnePlus 13. OxygenOS is the best they’ve done—fast fingerprint/face unlock, great customization—though I still want more than 4 years of updates. Cameras are good when lighting is good, but less consistent in low light after the sensor size change. And battery? This is the Android battery king for me—after it settled in, I’m getting almost 3 days, plus 100W charging and an IR blaster I use constantly.
