About This Video

Whenever I think Google Pixel, I think software first—and that’s exactly how I frame this Pixel 10 Pro long-term review after 98 days. I’ve been using it side-by-side with brand new iPhones, my Galaxy S25 Ultra, and even the OnePlus 13, and I wanted to see what actually holds up once the “new phone” hype is gone. The short version: the design is still one of the most beautiful phones out right now (that 6.3-inch size is perfect), the display is stupid bright and genuinely top-tier, and Android 16 with Material 3 is easily my favorite OS experience on any device right now. But I’m also not here to glaze it. I talk about the massive punch-hole situation and how it creates weird black bars in apps like Google Maps in landscape, plus the fact that Google still needs to bring anti-reflective glass—especially at this price. The biggest swing topic is performance: I struggled for months with daily sluggishness, then the November update randomly transformed the phone and made scrolling feel finally on par with everything else. Camera-wise, photos are still insane (dramatic contrast/sharpness, and the 100x AI zoom can be awesome), but video is where I’m in shambles. No native 4K60 HDR is wild, Video Boost doesn’t fit my workflow, and “cinematic/blur” video being capped at 1080p30 is just not it—especially if you’re a creator.
