What’s up you guys—this is the first video of the year and I’m back at Beast Fab with my boy Jerry to officially show you the finalized BEASTFAB 3rd gen Tacoma rear high-clearance hybrid bumper. You’ve probably seen the sneak peeks (and the prototype on my truck), but this is the real production version. I walk you around the bumper and point out the stuff that matters: the dimple-die top plate that cleans up the look, hides the internals of the tubular design, drains water on rainy days, and doubles as a legit step plate. You also get a built-in hitch receiver plus two recovery points, and there’s even a hidden bracket underneath for small pods if you want reverse lights or chase lights. Jerry breaks down why this bumper is built to take a hit and actually work when you need it—double-plated recovery points (two 3/8" plates welded to make 3/4"), a full solid mounting plate that ties into the frame with 10 bolts total, and 1.75" tubing with 0.120" wall (with a DOM option if you’re really doing rock stuff). We don’t go super in-depth on the cutting/install in this video, but I show the license plate riv-nut option (way cleaner than zip ties or tabs), and I talk about why I’d personally recommend the tree saver/kick-out if you run tight trails or rock crawl and don’t want to smash your bedside.
