If you guys own a Tacoma, chances are you’re going to need this replaced at some point—those little OEM rubber splash guards underneath that always end up flapping around or straight up disappearing. In this video I show you exactly what they are, why they matter, and how to swap them out in just a few minutes. Mine were already on the verge of falling off, and the other side was completely gone, so it was the perfect time to replace them. I install the Ark Splash Guards and show you what comes in the box: the one-piece guards, an instruction manual with pics, and new push rivets. The big difference is quality and design—OEM is a flimsy two-piece setup, and the Ark guards are thicker, more rigid, and riveted together all the way around so they feel way more solid. Install is simple: pop the old clips out with a panel tool or flathead, line the new guard up, and work from the top down using the factory holes. I do mention if you’ve got bypass shocks and hoops like me, it’s tighter to maneuver—but for most Tacomas, it’s basically line it up, push the rivets in, and you’re done.
