In this cozy soft spoken swatching session, I’m unboxing a handful of Born Pretty gel polishes (five-ish) and giving you those slow, crinkly package sounds before we get into the colours. Then we move into the “water light / colored water” style magnetics, which are more translucent and give that oil-slick, murky-water look—one of them honestly made me think “pond” straight away. My takeaway: these are fun if you like shiftiness, layering, and experimenting, and they’re also a really budget-friendly place to start if you want to try nail stuff without going all-in on expensive brands.
