Hi there my lovely lovely sleepy squirrels. In this cozy Easter treats video, I’m doing a soft spoken/whispery little show-and-tell of everything I picked up for the kids’ Easter basket, with lots of tapping, scratching, paper sounds and crinkles along the way. I went to Normal (the shop here in France) and found some really fun bits, including Terry’s Chocolate Oranges (which I always associate with Christmas, but I’m very happy they’re easier to find in France now), plus the cutest orange cream filled eggs that I’m going to hide as a little trail leading to the “big” treats. I also share a few more “interesting” Easter picks rather than just loads of tiny eggs: Dubai-style pistachio cream eggs for my daughter, a little tube of white chocolate Smarties for my son (he used to call them “Marty’s,” which is still the cutest), and some carrot-shaped jelly beans that honestly just made me smile. I also grabbed a Tony’s Chocolonely bar because my son loves the weird chunk shapes—and I really appreciate their mission to push for slave-free chocolate. And yes… the long-leg marshmallow bunny is back (Santa version at Christmas, bunny now), because even if you’re 14, you’re allowed to have fun.
